Bonded/Child labor
Chocolate factories use child labor to collect the coco beans to make your chocolate. Three million tons of chocolate are eaten every year in the United States alone. In Africa children are being trafficed over to the Ivory Coast every day. The children live in very inhumane condition and are abused by their masters. The children are underfed and forced to work ten to fifteen hours a day. Children ages ten through fourteen are working on coco plantations. If right now you are thinking,”Who cares about the children,” then picture a child you love working in such conditions. People need to remember that children are the next generation and will decide what the world will become. Children are also used to make carpets, soccer balls, shoes, cloths, and some electronics.
The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games is the new biggest hit in the world of books. The movie ,of course, was awesome as well. However I liked the book better. If you have seen the movie, but haven’t read the books, you should read the books to find out what your missing out on.
If you want the good things in life you have to work really hard for them.
